The overall objective of SUSANE-research is to enhance the scientific research capacity in Vietnam for developing sustainable management and use of animal manure.
Background
Animal manure is a valuable source of plant nutrients and a source of spreading of diseases. Further manure is also a potential hazard to the environment. The small producers are increasing their pig production significantly on properties with very little land, this will increase risks for an inefficient use of animal manure, for environmental pollutions and spreading of pathogens.
